No hay nada mejor que clientes satisfechos

Ayer nos llegó una carta procedente del Reino Unido, concretamente de la ciudad de Bournemouth a la que acompañaba un revista especializada llamada MMM (Motorcaravan Motorhome Monthly), concretamente este número: http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/magazines/issue.asp?issue=412.

En la carta, redactada en inglés, se nos daban las gracias por el servicio y la atención recibidos durante una estancia de los clientes en el mes de marzo de 2010, y tan agradecidos y satisfechos quedaron que redactaron una carta a la mencionada publicación. Pues bien, en las páginas 17 y 18 aparece íntegramente la carta enviada por nuestros amigos y procedemos a reproducirla:

MALAGA PARKING

Whilst wintering in Spain this year we found a very useful service that could be of value to other MMM readers.

In the middle of our holiday, we needed to come back to the UK for a few days. We found a suitable flight from Malaga airport that allowed us to travel to Bournemouth on Thursday and return to Malaga on the following Tusday. The problem was, what to do with our motorhome when we were away?

On the web, we typed ‘motorhome parking Malaga airport’ into Google and up came www.autocaravanasdelsol.com. The web site is very detailed and can be vieweb in English. It even has a Skype link. As well as selling, hiring and servicing, the company provides secure storage for motorhomes and caravans. It also allows for basic overnight camping with electric hook-up and, as they are only ten minutes from Malaga airport, ‘free’ transfers to and from your flights.

Their charges were from teen euros for the night stop and 25 euros storage for our few days (half the normal monthly charge). Total: 35 euros including airport transfers.

Ignacio Piazzi, who we dealt with, spoke perfect English and was very helpful throughout. After booking our stay, we arrived on the Wednesday afternoon before the flight and stayed in the night in our motorhome. On Thursday morning we were taken to the airport and on the following Tusday morning we were collected and dropped back to the parking site, to continue our holiday.

Malaga airport continues to service a large number of UK destinations right through the winter months, whilst many of the other Spanish routes seem to be April to October only. Being very central to lot of the popular winter campsites in southern Spain, we will definitely plan a mid-holiday trip home next year.
